Yesterday, on a visit to the Ideal Home Exhibition in London, I visited a home that had it all.  Voice activated doors, windows and even the shower!  In the future, instead of a bed there was a kind of massive oyster shell that you would curl up in, assuring you a great night’s sleep.

In my house, I’m still in awe of the microwave, but my son has some friends who have recently invested in a fantastic bespoke home entertainment automation project.  After I visited this sophisticated home cinema, they said it had been hard to know where to turn for advice on this kind of project.  Apparently iLife solutions home cinema collection was a great find.  They specialise in “bespoke home entertainment.”  Their solutions can even extend to a whole house system which will control security, heating and lighting.  Steady on, I’m back at that exhibition!
